February 26 - Praising Not Complaining

"Oh, that men would give thanks to the Lord for His goodness,
And for His wonderful works to the children of men!" Psalm 107:8

If each of us devoted less time to complaining, and more time to praising, we would be happier, and God would be glorified.

May we daily praise God for those blessings we take for granted. We should praise God for the eyes, which allow us to see His creation and to read His word, for the food we eat that gives us strength, and for the clothing we wear. We should thank Him for family, friends, work, and the comforts of life. We should thank Him for putting us in a land of freedom and liberty where we can worship Him openly and without fear. But our greatest praise should be for His redeeming love. "In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace… Eph 1:7". Because of God's love for His chosen, we have been redeemed from the power of our corruption, had the weight of the sin in our lives lifted from us, the chains of guilt broken.

PRAISE GOD!

When you pray today, thank God for His blessings in your life, and ask for His blessing for our congregation and for our church leadership.
